This is my first attempt at getting the Thrustmaster FCS Joystick to work with Marathon. Marathon is such an exciting but complex game! It is very difficult to decide which actions to asign on the FCS and which ones to leave out. I hope the features I chose are the ones you people will like!
Instructions:
1) Open System Folder
2) Open Preferences Folder
3) Open Thrustmaster Strokes Folder
4) Put Thrustmaster Marathon file into the Thrustmaster Strokes Folder
5) Close all Folders.
6) Find and Launch Marathon and go to the preferences section.
7) Adjust the keyboard map to accomodate the following:
Movement Forward = Keyboard 8
Backward = Keyboard 5
Left = Keyboard 4
Right = Keyboard 6
Straff (Slide) = Tab
Run = Caps Lock (Optional)
Action = Space
Looking Glance Left = S
Glance Right = F
Look Up = E
Look Down = D
Firing Weapon 1 = Right arrow
Weapon 2 = Down arrow
Weapon Select Down = Left arrow
Choose ANY OTHER keystrokes for the rest of the actions!
Thrustmaster FCS Map:
8 way Top Hat: FORWARD = is look up
LEFT = is Turn left
RIGHT = is Turn right
BACKWARD = is look down
45 degrees left or right is glance left or right, respectively
FCS Top Button is Weapon Select
FCS Trigger is Fire Weapon Trigger 1
FCS Middle Button is Fire Weapon Trigger 2
FCS Low Button is for Straffing or Sliding
8) Save changes
9) Enjoy and kill a Phor for me!
THIS IS FREEWARE! Just include this note with all your postings or those who use it will have a hard time trying to get it to work!

I am running this on a PowerMac 8100/110. No other systems tested for speed comparison.
